The Second Child Means More Room is Needed- Central District to Columbia City

Columbia CityHaving met these buyers at an open house while they were pregnant with their second child, we kept in touch with them to see if we could be of some help in getting them into the larger home they were looking for. Once the baby was born, they were ready to get moving and called us in to help with the home search.

Living in a 2 bedroom townhome in the Central District, they were looking to stay close to their current location or farther south down to Seward Park so they could both be close to work.  Their needs were few but hard to find in a hot Seattle housing market.  Both being tall, they needed a house where they could stand up and not duck in the basement level and upstairs, which can be hard to find in older Seattle homes. Having 2 kids under the age of 3, they wanted the bedrooms to all be on the same level. After searching for several months we found a wonderfully laid out, tall ceilinged home with 3 bedrooms on the same level in popular Columbia City. We pounced. Knowing there would be multiple offers, we structured our offer to be as competitive as it could be while still protecting our buyer’s interests. Even though our offer wasn’t cash like one of the others, our package was so well put together, it was more attractive to the seller and we were the winning offer!

Congrats on your new big home Brian and Cheryl and w can’t wait for happy hour at the Columbia City Ale House!
