Selling Investment Property Becomes Necessary

And in some unfortunate instances it means that a person needs to short sell their home in order to get out of a sticky situation. In this case, this growing family owned two properties and could no longer afford to hold onto both. The smaller of their properties needed to be sold so they called us in to handle it for them.

A wonderfully laid out townhome in a great location in Bothell at an affordable price was sure to sell if positioned right in the market. (yes, we do help clients outside of Seattle)  With professional photos, professional cleaning and great pricing strategy to encourage buyers to endure the short sale process, we were ready to go live on the market.  With our due diligence we scored an offer in less than 2 weeks on the market. Financing for this townhome proved difficult as this condo community’s original developer still owned several of the townhomes in the community.  This can be an issue for lender (to learn more, drop us a line) but we were able to work hand in hand with the buyer’s agent to procure a new lender that could get the job done so our sellers could move on and the buyers could move in.
