When these Madison Valley condo owners found out that they got jobs in Chicago they started to think about selling their 2 bedroom condo. They contacted us in May (5 months before they had to move) to get a conversation going. This is a great move for a seller to reach out in advance of needing to sell so we can get together and chat about the process and make a plan together as to how to move forward. So we did just that.
We made suggestions for sprucing the place up so that buyers would be wowed! This included putting in all new hardwood flooring, carpeting, painting the whole condo and updating the fireplace surround. They saw the benefits of completing the updates and we set out to coordinate all of the work, staging and photographer while they moved across the country. Once they were getting ready to move in October we met up again to touch base and ensure everything was on track. Once everything was completed, it really was a transformation. Sparkling and ready for the market, we launched the condo into the market place and had 3 offers within 3 days. In constant communication with these out of state sellers, we were able to get this condo sold and closed a few weeks later with no hassle for the sellers.
