The trick to this purchase was our city’s low inventory. It can make finding the right home, in the right price point challenging. After looking for this couples first home in the ever popular north Seattle neighborhoods at a price point of under $400,000 and not being able to find what they were looking for we threw them a curve ball. What if they look at fixers under their max budget and get a conventional rehab loan (yes, that loan program does exist!) and fix the property up in their vision? The answer was yes! We found the perfect charming home in Ravenna that needed some TLC, beat out the multiple offers, worked tirelessly through the rehab loan process and contractor bids, and got the house for this great first time home buying couple.
