With the 4th of July only a few days away we thought it would be worth mentioning the events that are taking place in South Lake Union this weekend.
This year the Seafair Summer 4th will not only be on the north side of Lake Union in Gas Works Park but, for the 1st time, will expand to the south side in Lake Union Park. In typical Seafair fashion there will be pirates, clowns, music , food, boats and, of course, fireworks launching from the barge in the Lake and bursting above your head in a magical display of light and sound. The 38th Annual Wooden Boat Festival is also taking place in South Lake Union on the waterfront this weekend. From Friday the 4th through Sunday the 6th from 10am to 6pm enjoy boat rides, food, live music, demos and toy boat building. Click here for more information.
