The first, and most important, step in the home buying process is the education portion. And education goes both ways, we educate our clients on the home buying process and they educate us on what they are looking for in their new home. That first consultation is a great time to go through the education phase of the process. After educating each other, we move on to the evaluation stage. Touring properties, it is important to evaluate each one to see if it is the right fit. Once we found the perfect condo in a fabulous location on Capitol Hill, we evaluated it even further by pulling comparable properties, so we could submit an offer at a price in line with the market. It was time for the next phase: execution. We drafted the offer, we negotiated a great price we were also able to also negotiate some inspection repairs. Then it was off to a smooth closing.
