Sometimes when you rent in a condo building and fall love with it, you start looking for available units to buy. That is what happened in with these buyers. A colleague was preparing to put a condo on the market and these tenants approached them and wanted to put in an offer before it hit the market and that’s where we came in.
In most cases, seller’s want to list their properties as they can procure more money when exposed to the open market. But this was an estate sale and, often, the estate is just looking for a quick and secure sale as was the case here. We wrote a solid offer and the fact that our clients lived in the building and were already comfortable the building and its rules was another strong selling point for our early offer. The Seller accepted our offer and after negotiations on the inspection we moved on to closing. And a move without a moving truck, not bad ?
