This buyer loved coming into Seattle to visit friends and enjoy the food, art, sports and entertainment that Seattle has to offer on his days off from his busy life of being a physician. Living about an hour outside the city he decided he could enjoy it a lot more if he had a permanent place to stay when he came into town.
The search for the perfect 2nd home began with deciding which neighborhoods fit his needs most. With his love for the arts and sports, Downtown and Belltown were obvious front runners. We focused our hunt on buildings near the action like the Concord, Klee, Parc, The Vine, Cristalla, Mosler and the like. But when we showed him the new construction Gallery Condominiums and it was actually in his desired price range, he knew he had found the one. To be able to get new construction was a bonus for him!
After negotiating with the Builder we were on the way toward a smooth closing. But the process hit a snag when the Buyer’s lender from out of the area could not lend on this condo building. Although our Buyer was worried that his second home would not happen, we knew what to do. We organized getting his old lender to pass along all pertinent loan information to the Building’s site lender and had them take over the loan process without much hassle for the Buyer. Shortly thereafter, the loan funded and the sale closed. Crisis averted!
