Sent our way by a fabulous real estate agent in Anchorage, whom we happened to sell a condo for years ago, we were able to connect with this family who was looking for to purchase a condo or townhome for their daughter to live in while attending medical school at UW.
Looking to be close to University of Washington yet walkable to amenities and not in the University District itself, we set out to find the right spot. After sending options in different areas around the city, Fremont and Capitol Hill seemed to be the neighborhoods that fit the bill best. Hoping to be able to have a roommate, the desire for 2 bedrooms and 2 baths was added to the list of needs. Once several options made the online cut, this buyer flew into town for a whirlwind weekend of touring. In this fast paced market, the 2 favorite options, one a townhome and one a condo, went pending before her flight landed. Never fear though! We kept on top of those options and when one popped back on the market we pounced and were able to secure it even with a multiple offer situation. Making sure they were informed at every turn, we guided them remotely through a super-fast 2 week closing.
