My birthday was this month and my favorite food is sushi so of course we had to go out to a nice sushi dinner to celebrate! And I really wanted to try Shiro’s new restaurant in Pike Place Market, Sushi Kashiba.
We didn’t make reservations so we ended sitting at the bar. The two bartenders were fabulous, knowledgeable and made our experience wonderful. They educated us on the restaurant, the sushi chefs, the food, and how the food was prepared and best enjoyed. Per their recommendation, we tried the Omakase (of Chef’s choice) dinner and then also another pre-selected dinner called the Seattle. I would venture to say it was the best sushi I have ever had and one of the best meals I have eaten. I absolutely loved this place.
