After showing homes in one of our favorite neighborhoods, Columbia City, we were famished and sought out a lunch spot when we happened upon Taproot Cafe & Bar.
Let’s just say that when Marco bit into his steak sandwich, he proclaimed it was the best sandwich he had ever eaten! And that is saying something as I have dragged him to every sandwich shop in town. We both decided to try sandwiches on the special menu, Marco got the steak special and I got the blackened fish special. Flavor bombs is how I would describe both meals. Absolutely delicious. They also had a nice beer, wine and cocktail list to accompany your lunch nosh.
Definitely pop in and try this spot out.
