We’d been waiting impatiently for this spot to open after we met the owner at our last pre-covid dining event in February last year. It was worth the wait!
A neighborhood restaurant, Communion’s mission is to foster community through the cultivation of fresh food and fine cooking. How fab is that?! And the food is fine. We devoured Unc’s wings and the greens and drooled over the shrimp and grits and fried catfish po-mi. Super flavorful. We cannot wait to go back and look forward to when we can dine in the beautiful space and enjoy the community vibe they are creating at this Central District gem.
Everyone should try this spot out!
