A new spot opened up in our neighborhood so, of course, we tried it on opening week.
Cal’s Classic American opened in South Lake Union this month. It is a sports bar meets industrial looking pub/restaurant. The food is classic American, as its name suggests. The chef was formally at the ever popular Bastille, so the food is delish! A cool and unique feature, the tables in the bar have self-service beer taps! Kind of fun to fill up our own pints! Another great feature, the bar managers, Matt and Dennis, also focus on classic cocktails many made with in house infused liquors and homemade syrups. We really enjoyed our food, drink and service experience at Cal’s!
An added bonus, we left our iPad there and they kept it safe and sound for us until we went back in for our second visit to pick it up! Thanks Cal’s!
