Knowing they wanted to move into a large home to accommodate their growing family, we met about both the buying and selling processes. Together we decided that buying first was the way to go so once they purchased their great new home and moved in, we set out to sell their Haller Lake rambler.
Cute as a button, there wasn’t a ton to do to shine this beauty up. However, these sellers wanted to spruce the kitchen up and modernize it a bit. We suggested they freshly paint some rooms as well as put in new carpet and refinish their lovely original hardwoods. Once those refreshes were completed, as like all homes we put on the market, we recommended staging as it helps potential buyers visualize themselves living in the home and provides scale for the rooms. Staging was installed, and it was time for this house’s close ups! We let the professionals take it from there. The visual materials turned out just right and the house hit the web and we held several open house events to make sure any and all buyers had a chance to check it out. We ended up getting two offers and moved forward with the strongest of the two. Walking them through each step from offer to close, we got this one buttoned up before the end of the year for these sellers.
