Having assisted these clients both purchase a home and sell one, they came to us when they decided they wanted to snag up some land to build a second home on.
In this case, they had already located the lot, so we headed out to South Bend to check it out, walk the property and get an idea of the buildability. After looking through the Covenants, Codes and Restrictions (CCRs) for the community, including the rules and regulations for building, we assisted them in writing it up and carrying it through to closing.
