It’s going to be October any day now and that means pumpkin themed events and more are coming. Here is a list of October fun.
- Trucktoberfest 10/1 to 10/2 in South Lake Union – enjoy beers (both regional and from around the world) paired with food from some of Seattle’s beat food trucks
- Piketoberfest 10/1 at Pike Place Brewing in the Market – a beer, charcuterie and harvest festival
- Northwest Tea Festival 10/1 to 10/2 at the Seattle Center – a fun and educational two-day event showcasing the multifaceted world of tea
- Woodland Park Brew at the Zoo 10/6 at Woodland Park Zoo – sample imports, domestics, microbrews and even ciders from over 40 different breweries
- Earshot Jazz Festival 10/7 to 11/11 at various locations throughout Seattle – includes more than 50 distinctive jazz concerts and events
- Cascadia Cheese Festival 10/8 at Central Co-op – celebrate gifted cheesemakers and try dozens of artisanal cheeses
- Great Pumpkin Beer Festival 10/8 in the North Lot at CenturyLink Field – sample more than eighty pumpkin beers from near and far
- Seattle Children’s Festival 10/9 at Seattle Center – a one-day, multi-cultural, inter-generational festival held on Seattle Center grounds, “Celebrating Our Big Neighborhood.”
- Boogie Nights 5K and Dance Party 10/29 at Green Lake – run or walk a 5k in costume and then party the night away at the dance party inside the Green Lake Community Center
- Pumpkin Bash and Trick-or-Treating 10/29 to 10/30 at Woodland Park Zoo – pumpkins for the animals and trick-or-treating for the kids
- Run Scared 5K 10/30 at Seward Park – run in costume to benefit the leukemia lymphoma society
- Troll-o-ween 10/31 in Fremont – performances in honor of the Troll’s birthday and then a costumed march around Fremont
Hopefully these events are mixed with the beautiful fall colors of red and orange and some great Seahawks wins.
