Having purchased their first home with us years prior, these Buyers added 3 kids to their family and with the quarantine announced, they thought it was time for a larger home.
Showing homes during the first phase of the covid shutdown was different but not impossible. Only two people allowed in homes including the agent meant that for this family, one half of the couple stayed in the car with the kids while the other viewed the home. They chatted on the phone during their walkthroughs about their thoughts, then they switched out roles. Showings certainly took longer and were a different experience but we all made it work and it paid off when we found a mid-century rambler on a large lot in a great part of town. Able to negotiate both closing costs and inspection repairs for these buyers, they were ready to move to closing and move into their beautiful larger home with fabulous outdoor space.
