Urban Hot Spot – Jules Maes Saloon

Jules MaesMy folks were in town this last weekend and we wanted to show them a part of Seattle they hadn’t yet explored, Georgetown. After having coffee at the great All City Coffee and browsing the antique stores we needed sustenance and ended up at Jules Maes Saloon.

It was a great spot! We barely found a table at the packed saloon but we snagged up the last one. We tried the fish and chips, chicken sandwich with tots and the sausage stew. All hit the spot! And they had a great selection of local brews to try.

Along with the great comfort food was a beautiful old bar, likely original since the saloon has been around since 1888, and a comfortable vibe making it a great spot to pop into for lunch or dinner. Try it!
