Art on the Fly
WHAT: A kickoff for Seattle’s International Dance Festival. Several blocks in South Lake Union will be blocked off to allow for beer and margarita gardens, roving dance performances, craft fair, music stage, flash mobs, kids’ activities, food from local restaurants, and will cap off with a DJ hosted dance party
WHEN: Saturday June 15th from 12 to 9pm
WHERE: On Terry Ave N between Republican and Thomas Streets
Vino at the Village
WHAT: A wine walk through Magnolia Village to benefit the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. It will take you through 10 different village businesses where you can try wine, listen to music and enjoy art offerings.
WHEN: Tonight June 14th from 6-9pm
WHERE: Magnolia Village – beginning in the Umpqua Bank
PROOF – Washington Distilleries Festival
WHAT: An event allowing you to taste over 40 local spirits and the craftspeople who made them. There will be food from local restaurants and music too!
WHEN: Saturday June 15th from 1-4pm
WHERE: The Foundry in SoDo
Empowering Women Exhibit Opening Program
WHAT: To celebrate the opening of Empowering Women: Artisan Cooperatives that Transform Communities the museum will feature talks about the art from Mexico’s southern state of Oaxaca.
WHEN: Saturday June 15th from 11-3pm
