Several restaurants are coming soon to the new Amazon buildings between 6th and 7th Ave, some of which are new and some are additional outposts to some of Seattle’s favorite’s spots. These new buildings are located in the nexus of South Lake Union and Belltown, in the Denny Triangle, also known as the Denny Regrade.
Here is what to expect to open in the next few months:
- Marination: what started as a fabulous Korean-Hawaiian fusion food truck, and has become a collection of several brick and mortar restaurants, will open their newest outpost here
- Skillet: delicious diner food, which also started as a food truck, will open it’s newest Skillet location this month
- Noroeste Taqueria: one of the new additions to the Huxley Wallace Collective, which is spearheaded by Josh Henderson (originally of the Skillet Diner family!), plans to open this taco bar in January
- Great State Burger: another restaurant from Huxley Wallace, this burger joint will open a location here and hopes to open another 8-9 locations around the city in the next year
- Cinque Terre: opening in February, this new comer will serve cuisine from the Italy’s Riviera regions, have an oyster bar and focus on local seafood and flavors
- Mamnoon Street: an offshoot of Mamnoon in Capitol Hill, this will likely also serve a take on the modern union of middle eastern cuisines
- Starbucks: no explanation needed here 🙂
Likely there will be more announcements of what is coming soon to the various Amazon buildings as they near completion.
