It has been a while since we highlighted newly opening or coming soon restaurants and bars in Seattle. So here goes!
Newly Opened:
- Porkchop & Co.: This breakfast and lunch spot recently opened in Ballard and describes itself as providing satisfying, well-crafted meals in a casual setting
- Elysian Bar: Downtown got an Elysian but this one isn’t a brew pub, it is a full blown bar that will have Murray Stenson at the helm
- Brunswick and Hunt: A new Ballard spot with a farm-driven menu
- Chippy’s: Ethan Stowell’s fish and chips shop located next to Staple and Fancy in Ballard
- Fat’s Wings and Waffles: Owner of Happy Grillmore food truck is opening a chicken and waffle shop in Rainier Beach
- Corretto: Italian pasta restaurant which opened its doors on Broadway last month
Coming Soon:
- Oliver’s Twist: The Phinney Ridge classic is opening a sister bar in Magnolia and they plan to be open next month
- Slab Sandwich + Pie: A new lunch spot that will serve take out sandwiches and grocery items in the newly opening Central Agency Building in Capitol Hill
- Lark: I suppose you wouldn’t really call this coming soon as it has been a staple on 12th Avenue in Capitol Hill for more than a decade, but Lark is moving into the Central Agency Building as well
- Bitter/Raw: A raw bar that will join Slab Sandwich & Lark in the Central Agency Building – all 3 projects will open this fall
- Babirusa: Blind Pig on Eastlake is getting a bar that will open next month
- Chop Shop: This will be a full on restaurant, a sandwich shop and a juice bar that will anchor the retail space in the Chophouse Row project in Capitol Hill – set to open in fall
- Damn the Weather: Pioneer Square can look forward to another bar that will have a casual neighborhood vide, set to open before June
- Hitchcock Deli Georgetown: The ever popular Hitchcock on Bainbridge is opening up in Georgetown
- Manolin: A seafood bar that will grace Stone Way in July
